South Park, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected super late model competitor, Jared Miley, finished his three-race weekend this past Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with three consecutive top 10 finishes; including a 4th place finish at Lernerville Speedway. Miley competed at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, June 8th; Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 9th; and rounded out the weekend last night at Cannonball Speedway near St. Clairsville, Ohio. The Colussy Chevrolet/Octane Graphix/Fully Injected ‘H1’ finished 4th at Lernerville Speedway, 4th at PPMS, and 7th at Cannonball Speedway; thus making the three race swing through Pennsylvania and Ohio successful and rewarding. The top five finish at Lernerville Speedway on Friday night allowed Miley to maintain his current point lead, and inch closer and closer towards the 2012 Lernerville Speedway super late model track championship.

Jared Miley holds the Lernerville Speedway point lead by 42 markers over fellow Western Pennsylvania native, John Garvin Jr. The ‘H1’ has visited victory lane at the Sarver oval three times so far in 2012; as well as earning a handful of other top five finishes. The recent momentum build will be utilized wisely in the coming weekends, as the prestigious ‘Firecracker 100’ presented by Gotta Race is quickly approaching. The annual event at Lernerville Speedway pays $30,000 to the victor and is sanctioned by The World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

Kittanning, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected ‘410’ sprint car competitor, Kevin Schaeffer, currently holds the top spot in the Lernerville Speedway sprint car standings. The former three-time Lernerville Speedway track champion has a 10 point cushion over fellow former track champion, Rod George. Schaeffer finished second in his most start at the Sarver, PA 4/10’s mile oval this past Friday, June 9th; leading a majority of the 25 lap, sprint car main event before being passed by Danny Holtgraver with one circuit remaining. The runner-up finish was enough to keep Schaeffer on top of the point standings, while also keeping alive his impressive top five consistency. ‘Kool’ Kevin Schaeffer has only finished outside of the top five once in sprint car competition in 2012 at Lernerville Speedway; that being a sixth place performance several weeks back. Schaeffer has visited Lernerville Speedway victory lane once this season.

Schaeffer announced on fullyinjected.com at the beginning of the 2012 season that this would be his last year racing a ‘410’ sprint car. With that in mind, a track championship is certainly within reach, and would be a fantastic way to end a career.

Stay tuned for more this week on Kevin Schaeffer and Jared Miley!
