Schaeffer in action at Lernerville Speedway earlier this sesason!

Fully Injected’s Kevin Schaeffer and Rod George currently sit 1 and 2 in the Lernerville Speedway Budweiser Point Standings. The Western Pennsylvania sprint car veterans each own ‘410’ sprint car track championships at the Sarver, Pennsylvania oval, and are currently on the right track towards earning one more.

Kevin Schaeffer holds the top spot in the current standings with an eight (8) point cushion over Rod George. The Kittanning native has only finished outside of the top five once thus far in 2012; with that taking shape a few weekends back when the familiar Schaeffer Tire, yellow no.9 crossed the start/finish line 6th in the running order. Schaeffer does own a victory at the 4/10’s mile semi-banked oval this year; with that coming back on opening night weekend. The former three time track champion at Lernerville hopes to end his last season in ‘410’ sprint car competition with a bang, and claim another track championship.

Rod George, also of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, rides second in the current Lernerville Speedway point’s race. The former track champion has a three point lead over Brian Ellenberger who comfortably sits third in the standings. George does not own any victories at the Sarver oval in 2012, but recently earned a win at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania.
