(By Mike Leone) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)…Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Series Directors Vicki Emig and Mike Leone and thrilled to welcome back Lincoln Electric as a Major Contingency Sponsor once again for the upcoming 2014 racing season. The nationally-known Lincoln Electric’s contribution to the 2014 season will be two Power Mig 140C machines with two utility carts, valued at $750 each.

“Lincoln Electric is a great name to have as part of our Series as one of our marketing partners,” stated Emig. “To be able to continue to attract national companies on board with RUSH speaks volumes about our Series. Even though they are a national company, it’s nice to know they aren’t located too far from my office in Cleveland, Ohio. I met Lincoln’s Mickey Holmes in 2011 at I.M.I.S. and we began to develop a good relationship. 2014 marks our third year of working together and I hope we can continue the relationship long into the future.”

One of Lincoln’s Power Mig 140C machines and utility cart will be given away of course on August 30 at the Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC Touring Series “Manufacturers Night” event at McKean County Raceway. The second will be going to a RUSH Late Model racer at Sharon Speedway in conjunction with Lincoln Electric’s Corporate Night at the speedway. These welders will be great additions to the fortunate RUSH teams that receive them as not only can they be utilized in their shops, but also adaptable for use in their haulers as they travel up and down the roads throughout the season.

Past winners of these great Lincoln Welder giveaways include Rusty Cade (2012 Sweeney Night at Sharon), Jason Knowles (2012 Manufacturers Night at Sharon), Jorden Peters (2013 Sweeney Night at Sharon), and Mike Pegher, Jr. (2013 Manufacturers Night at Sharon).

Speaking of “Manufacturers Night”, not only will $1,500 be on the line for the second Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC Touring event at McKean, but over $30,000 in prizes is expected to be doled out with each competing racer going home with a valuable prize!
