Marks Earns Pair of Top-Tens Against Arctic Cat All Stars in Central PA, Tripleheader On Deck!

MYERSTOWN, PA (August 23, 2016) – Brent Marks took full advantage of the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions swing through Central Pennsylvania on August 18-20 by joining the regional series during all three of their scheduled stops.
The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native followed the Arctic Cat All Stars to Grandview Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, and Lincoln Speedway, earning two top-ten finishes over the course of the weekend, highlighted with an eighth place charge from 15th at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, August 19. A ninth place finish at Grandview Speedway and a 13th place performance at Lincoln Speedway completed Marks’ weekend outcome. Including his Grandview and Williams Grove Speedway results, Marks now has a total of eight Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions top-ten finishes, all of which during ten main event starts.
“Anytime you get an opportunity to race that much close to home, you have to jump on it,” Brent Marks said. “Overall, it wasn’t our best weekend. We struggled in some areas and really couldn’t get comfortable. We’re definitely proud of what we’ve accomplished, but there is still room for improvement. We’ll take a step back and figure out what we missed and apply that this weekend.”
Brent Marks and the Brent Marks Racing, M&M Painting & Construction, BAPS Auto Paint & Supply, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller Builders, KC Automotive, No. 19M operation will continue their 2016 campaign with three more scheduled events this Friday through Sunday, August 26-28. The “Myerstown Missile” will visit Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and Path Valley Speedway Park during his upcoming Central Pennsylvania tripleheader, attempting to score another main event victory to bring his win total even with 2015.
“We’ve been so close on so many occasions this year. It gets frustrating at times, but we keep digging,” Brent Marks explained. “We have the potential to score one or two more wins this weekend. We have the work ethic and the mentality to make that happen. The three races this weekend are at tracks we are familiar with. That will give us a chance to check our notes and see what we need to do to get up front. I can’t thank my team enough for their help and support. The list of people who support this team is long, but distinguished. I’ll do whatever I can to get this ‘19M’ up front.”
