Max Stambaugh will join Home Pro Racing full-time in 2019; Florida bound to begin year

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

ELIDA, Ohio (October 22, 2018) – Right from the start, Elida, Ohio’s ‘Mad Max’ Stambaugh and Michigan-based car owner Shannon Eifert proved to be a winning combination. Despite a short, but active campaign, connecting for less than ten starts during the latter half of the 2018 season, the success was nearly instantaneous, ultimately earning a victory at Butler (Mich.) Motor Speedway during their first start of the year, followed by another trip to victory lane at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan. With that being said, Max Stambaugh and Shannon Eifert will join forces full-time in 2019, planning a near-40 race assault across much of the Midwest kicking off officially with action in the Sunshine State during the early weeks of February.

“I can’t thank Shannon Eifert enough for this opportunity. He believes in me and I am confident we’ll continue to do great things together. I’m excited to see what the future holds,” Max Stambaugh explained. “We put together some solid runs this year which is really motivating considering we’ve only raced a few times. Shannon and the team provide me with the equipment necessary to be successful and I am truly grateful. Hopefully we can come out swinging next year and do great things right from the start.”

Max Stambaugh and Home Pro Racing, backed by Shannon Eifert’s Home Pro Roofing, Owens Corning Roofing Products, Products Provided by ABC Supply Co., CR Meyers and Associates, and Chad Miller Southside Auto Body, will enter an array of sanctioned events during the 2019 season, planning to join such series as the All Star Circuit of Champions, Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS), Sprints On Dirt (SOD), FAST Series, United Sprint Car Series (USCS) and the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series (WoO).

Stambaugh brings a stout resume to the Home Pro Racing family that includes back-to-back runner-up finishes in the NRA Sprint Invaders championship, an All Star Circuit of Champions Rookie of the Year accomplishment, and a combined win total equaling 11 during the last three seasons, most of which earned during 410 sprint car competition.

In addition to a full slate of Home Pro Racing commitments, Stambaugh also plans to make select starts in his familiar, family-owned No. 5M sprint car, planning to enter 360 and 410 events, much much like his outlook with Shannon Eifert.

“Shannon and I have roughly 35-40 events on our radar, but during times in between, I’ll hop back in my family car for a race here and there,” Stambaugh continued. “We raced the 5M a lot this summer and we had some success. We were really careful with our scheduling and it seemed to work out really well for us. We had some success, which is great, but we also had a lot of fun. So many people made our family team a reality and I owe everything to them. Hopefully we can continue to make supporters like Wicked Cushion, Biggies, Specialized Therapy, and Lima Cadillac proud long into the future.”

Tentatively, Max Stambaugh and Home Pro Racing will open their 2019 season with action in Florida, anxious to join the All Star Circuit of Champions during scheduled events at Bubba Raceway Park (Winter Dirt Games) and Volusia Speedway Park (DIRTcar Nationals).

Other possibilities include joining the World of Outlaws at Volusia during their segment of the DIRTcar Nationals, as well as visit East Bay Raceway Park near Tampa for the King of the 360s program worth $10,000.
