Pennsylvania sprint car enthusiasts from each end of the ‘Keystone State’ will have an opportunity to spectate calendar highlighting events this weekend; with 410 sprint cars being featured at Port Royal Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park this Saturday night.

Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, will be one of the highlights of the Keystone State this weekend for sprint car fans; as a two day format with a very large payout will sure to attract the best sprint car teams in the region. This two day event on September 9th and 10th will close out the 157th annual Juniata County Fair.

The Port Royal weekend will begin Friday night, September 9th; as the ‘Living Legends Dream Night Before the 50’ will take over the fairgrounds half mile with two-20 lap features being included in the program. The Living Legends night’s twin 20 lap features will honor Keith Kauffman and Walt Dyer; with The Kauffman 20 paying $3,333 to win, and The Dyer 20 paying $4,610 to win. Time trials will line up the heat races for the Friday night event. The winner’s of the twin 20 events will have guaranteed spots in the Saturday night, Tuscarora 50.

The Tuscarora 50 will be the highlight of the Saturday night, September 10th, program at Port Royal Speedway; paying $11,000 to the winner of the 50 lap, 25 mile event. Along with the $11,000 to win purse, lap money will be given to the race leaders; with a possibility that the winner could pocket over $12,000. Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania, will be having its annual Western PA Sprint Championship this Saturday night, September 10th; with double points on the line for all divisions and a $3,000 to win purse for the 410 sprint cars. This is the 22nd year for this 410 sprint car event; and will showcase all of western Pennsylvania’s sprint car talent  for a nice points and pay day. The current point standings at the Mercer, PA bullring show Franklin, PA native, Bob Felmlee, holding the point by only 17 markers over Rod George of Kittanning. George, who is a member and supporter of Fully Injected and www.fullyinjected.com, has been closing the points gap slowly each and every week. He is the most recent winner at MRP- winning the 410 main event this past Saturday night. Fully Injected teammates actually round out the remaining top five spots in Mercer sprint car point standings; as Brandon Spithaler sits third, Adam Kekich fourth, and Brandon Matus, fifth.
