Williams Grove Speedway Opens Friday and Rain Takes Saturday
Williams Grove Speedway opened Friday night to warm March weather, a 40 car field and a great crowd. Brian Montieth and Danny Dietrich dueled the final laps with Danny coming away with the win. Danny became the 7th different winner in 7 features run for 2012 in the Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series. Rain moved in Saturday and canceled action at both Lincoln and Port Royal Speedways.
The series continues this Friday night March 30th at Williams Grove Speedway and continues the following evening Saturday March 31st when Lincoln Speedway and Port Royal Speedway both run feature events.
Brian Montieth leads the point standings with Danny Dietrich moving up to 2nd and Daryn Pittman in 3rd.
