Kittanning, Pennsylvania native and Team Fully Injected veteran, Kevin Schaeffer, earned a runner-up finish last night, July 22nd, at Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, Pennsylvania during the $3,000-to-win ‘410’ sprint car main event. Schaeffer, who is the current sprint car point leader at Lernerville Speedway by 8 markers over Rod George, chased leader and eventual winner, Billy Dietrich, for much of last night’s main event. The runner-up finish also allowed Schaeffer to continue his impressive streak of top five performances in 2012. The former three-time Lernerville Speedway sprint car track champion has only finished outside of the top five once in 2012; that being a sixth place finish at Lernerville Speedway.
