Scott Priester and Dionise Racing Look to End Mercer Season Within Top Three of Standings

Rimersburg, PA (September 6th, 2013) – Scott Priester and Dionise Racing will have an opportunity to end their 2013 Mercer Raceway Park season inside the top three of the final ‘410’ sprint car standings. The Mercer 3/8’s mile oval, located minutes from downtown Mercer, Pennsylvania, will host their last ‘Saturday Night Live!’ points race of the 2013 season this Saturday evening, September 7th; with Scott Priester and Dionise Racing firmly planted inside the top-five of the current standings. Priester sits third (3rd), officially, in the Mercer championship chase heading into this Saturday’s final ‘Saturday Night Live!’ event; trailing current Mercer Raceway Park point leader and defending track champion, Eric ‘Turkey’ Williams, by seventy-five (75) markers. The current top-five in the standings sits at Eric Williams on top with 1116 points; Jack Sodeman Jr. riding second with 1114 points; Scott Priester third with 1041 points; Adam Kekich now fourth with 1024 points; and Dan Kuriger fifth with 990 points. The September 7th ‘Saturday Night Live!’ finale will also award double points for all divisions.
The Priester/Dionise duo have been a successful combination for the past few seasons in Western Pennsylvania; with their most recent 2012 season resulting in a second place finish in the final Mercer Raceway Park ‘410’ track standings. Scott Priester has one (1) ‘410’ sprint car victory to his credit at the Mercer Raceway Park in 2013; along with multiple top-five and top-ten appearances.
