Rimersburg, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected supporter, Scott Priester, sits a mere two points behind Western Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car veteran, Bob Felmlee, in the ‘410’ sprint car point’s chase at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Priester, who pilots the Dionise Racing #15 on a full-time basis in 2012, holds strong with 223 points in the current MRP standings; 16 points ahead of Jimmy Light, and only 2 markers behind Bob Felmlee. The Dionise Racing program had intentions of not being a regular competitor at the Mercer oval in 2012, but since the team finds themselves within championship contention, the attitude changed.
“Two wins this weekend would be nice!” explained Scott Priester about his upcoming weekend, “We would like to get a win in our own car at Lernerville on Friday and a win in the Dionise Racing ’15’ on Saturday…we have been close at both places!”
Scott Priester has had multiple weekend appearances at Mercer Raceway Park turn into success; thus, allowing the former Challenger Raceway track champion to stay alive in the championship hunt. Mercer Raceway Park will host a regular night of action this Saturday evening, June 9th; hosting the usual ‘Saturday Night Live’ divisions at the 3/8’s mile oval. Priester’s weekend will begin in Sarver, Pennsylvania tomorrow evening, June 8th. The familiar family owned no. 11 will be back in action at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania!
