Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio will once again welcome FASTRAK Late Models, Big Block Modifieds, and E-mods to their weekly racing card. The high paced 3/8’s mile oval, just beyond the Pennsylvania border, will also host an array of 410 sprint car and super late model programs in 2012; adding even more luster to their highly anticipated upcoming summer schedule.

The season is scheduled to kick-off on Saturday, March 31st with the “Steel City Thunder” Kickoff – featuring their regular weekly divisions.

The All-Star Circuit of Champions sprint cars will return to Sharon Speedway on Tuesday, June 26th for their annual Ohio Sprint Speedweek visit. The speedweek event will pay $5,000 to the winner; with Econo Mods and Mini Stocks acting as the support divisions.

The 410 sprint cars will make another rare visit on Tuesday, July 10th for the highly anticipated “Lou Blaney Memorial.” This $2,000 to win sprint car program, which is co-headlined with the $1,500 to win Big Block Modified feature, will host a few NASCAR superstars such as Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, and Dave Blaney – all racing 410 sprint cars.

The BOSS wingless sprints will make an appearance on Saturday, July 14th; marking as their only visit to Sharon this season.

The ULMS Super Late Models will try and tame the 3/8’s mile on Saturday, April 21st with a $3,000  to win program.

The FASTRAK Late Models Northeast Touring Series will make multiple stops at Sharon in 2012; including the $1,200 to win double header in September known as the “Apple Festival Nationals.”
