T.J. Michael Will Return to Eldora Speedway for Four Crown Nationals

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

PLANO, Texas (September 20, 2016) – For the third time in 2016 and for the third time in his career, the “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael will attempt to tame the highbanks of Eldora Speedway. The full-time Arctic Cat All Star traveler and rookie contender finished 16th during his first-ever visit to the World’s Greatest Dirt Track, climbing from row ten during Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Cometic Gasket.

Michael, a Plano, Texas, native who now calls Fremont, Ohio, home, will make his return to The Big E on Saturday afternoon, September 24, for the 35th edition of the Four Crown Nationals; a blockbuster event that will showcase the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, as well as all three national divisions of the United States Auto Club (USAC). The Arctic Cat All Star portion will award a $5,000 top prize, with Eldora Speedway putting up a $100,000 bonus for any competitor who can sweep all four segments of the Four Crown Nationals program.

“Eldora Speedway has a lot of history. Anytime you have an opportunity to be a part of that history is really special,” T.J. Michael explained, pilot of the Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, Hinchman Suits, Snap-On, Kistler Racing Engines, J&J Auto Racing , MJ Webb Enterprises, Roy Hardin Masonry, Wood Air Conditioning, Pro Tech Service Company, No. 8M. “We’re pretty excited to get back there. We had a pretty good night there during Ohio Sprint Speedweek. We’ve learned a lot just during the few attempts we had there. We’ll work to put our notes to good use and see if we can move into the top-ten.”

T.J. Michael will enter Eldora Speedway’s gates currently seventh in the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions standings, earning seven top-ten finishes in 34 main event starts.

“It has been a rewarding season thus far,” Michael said. “We are enjoying our experiences on the road. We’ve learned more than we could ever imagine during the last few months and that will certainly help us down the road as I continue my career. I can’t thank my dad, crew, Andy Potter, and everyone enough for their help and support. I’m excited to tackle Eldora.”
