PLANO, Texas (February 13, 2020) – With his 2020 debut just four weeks away, the ‘Texas Traveler’ TJ Michael is excited to announce that he will be joining forces with Sacramento, California-based Clayton Snow Racing during the early portion of the new year, together challenging the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series on 12 separate occasions beginning with a Texas doubleheader at Cotton Bowl Speedway and LoneStar Speedway on Friday and Saturday, March 13-14.

Continuing on into Arizona, and eventually California, Michael and the Clayton Snow Racing No. 7 will follow the Greatest Show On Dirt through much of their first West Coast Swing, eventually making appearances at USA Raceway and Arizona Speedway in Arizona, followed by a six-race stretch through California that includes stops at Perris Auto Speedway, Santa Maria Raceway, Thunderbowl Raceway, Merced Speedway, and Ocean Speedway. Although the team will take a week off to allow Michael the opportunity to compete in northwest Ohio, Michael and Clayton Snow Racing will reconvene and take-on the World of Outlaws at Vado Speedway Park in New Mexico on April 24-25.

“I can’t thank Clayton Snow and the entire team enough for this opportunity. This was basically the opportunity of a lifetime for me and I plan on taking full advantage of it. I’m confident we’ll put together some great results,” Michael said, a Texas-native who spends the summer months in Fremont, Ohio, where he headquarters his race team, Michael Motorsports. “I’ve raced at Cotton Bowl and LoneStar, but the tracks in Arizona, California and New Mexico will all be new. This is going to be a lot of fun.”

In addition to molding plans and ironing out a schedule with Clayton Snow Racing, TJ Michael and his own Michael Motorsports also have been hard at work, eagerly preparing for another competitive schedule in northwest Ohio, as well as the surrounding areas. Headquartered in Fremont, the 2019 Rick Ferkel Classic champions at Waynesfield Raceway Park will center much of their focus around Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) and All Star Circuit of Champions competition.

The Michael Motorsports No. 8M will make its debut during AFCS action at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 17-18, respectively.

“It’s going to be a busy year, but busy is a non-issue when you surround yourself with great people,” TJ Michael continued. “My crew has been hard at work updating our equipment and preparing cars for the new year and I think we are just about ready. We proved that we are a winning combination last year, so the goal is to do that a few more times in 2020.”
