Top-ten finishes continue for Brent Marks; Dodge City double next

MYERSTOWN, PA (October 24, 2017) – The “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks is enjoying his time out on the road with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, and with enjoyment comes success. The Rookie of the Year contender earned his 22nd top-ten performance of the 2017 season during the recent weekend, finishing eighth at the Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma, on Saturday, October 21. Marks’ month of October has been littered with top-ten performances; sixth at Fulton (NY) Speedway, eighth at Ransomville (NY) Speedway, and eighth at the Salina Highbanks.
“The hard work has been paying off,” Marks said, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 19. “It feels good to put together a string of solid finishes. We’ve been working toward consistency all season. I’m happy to be where I am right now. It’s kinda sad to think the season is almost over. We want this to keep going.”
Brent Marks will continue his 2017 World of Outlaws campaign with back-to-back events at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas. The Dodge City/Outlaw Boot Hill Showdown doubleheader will ignite on Friday, October 27.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today without my family and my dedicated supporters,” Marks continued. “I couldn’t be happier right now. We are truly living the dream out on the road.”
