Bowling Green, Ohio native and F.A.S.T. ‘410’ sprint car competitor, Travis Philo, is set for action at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio this weekend. The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will be making their lone visit of the 2012 season this Friday evening, June 1st, at the ultra-racey 3/8’s mile oval located at the Attica Fairgrounds. The World of Outlaws, lead by Steve Kinser, Donny Schatz, and Sammy Swindell, will headline the $10,000-to-win Kistler Engines Classic Friday night; with the UMP Late Models also on the evening card. “The Greatest Show on Dirt” will face-off against some of the best drivers that Ohio has to offer including Fully Injected’s Travis Philo; and with the All-Star Circuit of Champions off this weekend, one can assume that a healthy roster of talent will be signed-in Friday night. Philo has been in action at Attica Raceway Park on a number of different occasions in 2012, and looks to qualify for the 40 lap main event this Friday evening.
Philo currently sits 13th in the Attica Raceway Park track standings. The familiar ‘5T’ spends most of his weekends racing in Northwestern Ohio at tracks at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway; competing in the well-known Fremont/Attica Sprint Title series. The twenty-one year old finds himself 14th in the current F.A.S.T. standings, and looks to use his ‘home track advantage’ this weekend when “The Greatest Show on Dirt” rolls into Attica, Ohio.
