Travis Philo Will Spend A Lot of Time at Fremont During Month of September
F.A.S.T. Finale, Jim Ford Classic and World of Outlaws STP Sprints All During September at Fremont Speedway

Bowling Green, OHIO – (September 5th, 2013) – Travis Philo will be spending a lot of time at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio during the month of September; as the ‘410’ sprint cars will be featured during three (3) big events between September 7th and September 28th. Philo, who owns two-career ‘410’ sprint car main event wins at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, has yet to win a ‘410’ sprint car main event at ‘The Track That Action Built’ in Fremont, Ohio, but will have a few opportunities to do so during the late summer season. Travis Philo will kick-off his September session at the Fremont Speedway with Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) competition this Saturday evening, September 7th. The F.A.S.T. program this Saturday will be the 2013 season finale for the northwestern Ohio ‘410’ series; as well as the season finale for Fremont Speedway’s individual sprint car point race.

Travis Philo sits tenth (10th) in the current F.A.S.T. standings heading into the 2013 series finale on Saturday, September 7th at Fremont; on the strength of one (1) F.A.S.T. victory during the 2013 season (Attica). The Bowling Green, Ohio native finds himself trailing current F.A.S.T. point leader, and Fremont Speedway point leader, Craig Mintz by 425 markers. Saturday, September 7th will also act as ‘Championship Night’ at the Fremont Speedway; with the facility crowning their 2013 track champions in all regularly featured divisions. Travis Philo finds himself twelfth (12th) in the current Fremont Speedway ‘410’ sprint car point race.

The pilot of the familiar Control Design Solutions, Banshee Graphics, Kistler Racing Products, no. 5T will travel back to the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Friday and Saturday, September 13th & 14th; taking part in the 6th Annual ‘Jim Ford Classic’ featuring the national travelers of the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions. The two-day ‘Jim Ford Classic,’ which will feature two complete programs on Friday and Saturday for the UNOH All Star ‘410’ sprinters, will award $3,000 to the main event winner on Friday, September 13th; and $10,000 to the main event winner on Saturday, September 14th; not including the $5,000 point fund that will be spread out over the top-ten drivers after two days of action. Saturday’s ‘Jim Ford Classic’ finale will be fifty (50) laps in distance. Travis Philo did not enter the 2012 ‘Jim Ford Classic’ due to motor and car issues.

The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series will be making an appearance at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday evening, September 28th; showcasing some of the nation’s most talented sprint car drivers. Travis Philo plans to go head-to-head with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at the Fremont oval; vying for a piece of the $10,000-to-win purse. Philo has never won a World of Outlaws main event, but hopes to do his part in defending ‘home turf’ when ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ invades Fremont, Ohio.
