FOREST, Ohio (August 13, 2019) – Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports certainly met the requirements for accomplishing consistency during the recent weekend, eventually capping their two-race, Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS) schedule on August 9 & 10 with a pair of podium performances, each acquired from the outside of row three. Impressive enough, Westfall finished third during each of his BOSS Series outings, first visiting Gas City Speedway on Friday, followed by a Saturday night stop at Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio.

Westfall’s pair of podiums not only padded his championship lead in the BOSS standings, but it also bumped his recent podium streak to four consecutive which includes at victory at Limaland Motorsports Park on August 2.

“Things have been clicking and the results show,” Ray Marshall said, owner of the Ray Marshall Motorsports/Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Crazy Lady Restaurant and Bar/Hempy Water/DPI Ink/No. 33M sprint car. “Matt [Westfall] continues to put this team in position to win. Sooner or later, that is going to translate into more wins. I’m proud of everyone involved.”

The action-packed month of August will continue for Matt Westfall and the ever-familiar ‘Bumblebee Express’ with a two-race weekend in the Hoosier State, first returning to Gas City Speedway on Friday, August 16, followed by a stop at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on Saturday, August 17.

Westfall’s weekend will be highlighted with the $3,000-to-win Dick Gaines Memorial at Lawrenceburg on Saturday.
