FOREST, Ohio (September 9, 2019) – Another start resulted in another top-five outcome for Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports, this time driving the ‘Bumblebee Express’ to a fifth place finish during ‘Friday Night Fury’ action at Gas City Speedway in Gas City, Indiana, doing so by advancing six spots after starting 11th on the grid.

Certainly no stranger to success at the Gas City bullring, Westfall kicked things off with a third place finish during his respective heat race.

Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports were planning to be in action at Montpelier Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 7, but the event was later cancelled.

“It was a great night for our team. I’m proud of Matt (Westfall) and the entire crew,” Ray Marshall explained, owner of the Ray Marshall Motorsports/Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Crazy Lady Restaurant and Bar/Hempy Water/DPI Ink/No. 33M non-wing sprint car. “We have another busy weekend ahead. I’m confident our success will continue.”

Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will continue their 2019 campaign with another doubleheader in the Hoosier State, this time returning to Gas City Speedway on Friday, September 13, followed by a stop at Lawrenceburg Speedway on Saturday, September 14.
