VINCENTOWN, N.J. (May 13, 2019) – Despite a rocky start to his 2019 campaign, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall is starting to see some light.

Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car, earned a top-ten finish during his recent weekend of competition, capitalizing on a pole position during action at the Port Royal Speedway ‘Speed Palace’ on Saturday, May 11.

The former URC competitor, who has since made the transition to 410c.i. competition full-time in 2019, finished ninth, officially, during the Port Royal program; his second top-ten performance of the season and his first at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile.

Whittall kicked off his evening by finishing third during his respective heat race.

“We are starting to have fun again. It’s easy to get frustrated out here, but results like these remind us why we race in the first place; it is very rewarding,” Justin Whittall said. “All we can do is take things one weekend at a time and strive for better results each weekend.”

With Prom on the upcoming weekend agenda, Justin Whittall will enjoy an off-weekend from racing before returning to competition for the two-day Bob Weikert Memorial at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, May 25 & 26. Each main event will pay $10,000.
