VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 26, 2019) – Nearly matching his best performance of the 2019 season, a runner-up finish acquired on June 15, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall put together a spectacular evening on Saturday, August 23, at the Port Royal Speedway ‘Speed Palace’ and secured his second podium outcome of the year.

Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car, finished third at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile on Saturday night, ultimately maintaining a position inside the top-five the entire distance after starting third on the grid. Whittall kicked-off the evening with a runner-up finish during his respective heat race.

The Open Wheel Madness result is just one of six top-ten performances for the recent high school graduate, all of which accomplished across three different Central Pennsylvania facilities.

“It was a solid night for our team. With the Tuscarora 50 coming up, it’s nice to be able to go to Port Royal and turn some quality laps. It makes us excited for when the All Stars return,” Justin Whittall said, a former URC racer turned Pennsylvania Posse competitor. “We took the weekend off last weekend to do some fishing. To come back from that with a clear mind really did us good. Maybe we should go on vacation more often.”

Business as usual for Justin Whittall during the coming weekend. The youngster from the Garden State will return to the Port Royal Speedway ‘Speed Palace’ twice during Labor Day weekend; the fair opener on August 31, followed by the Labor Day Classic on Monday, September 2. In addition, Whittall plans to visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, August 30, as well as Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday, September 1.
