FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

It might be Friday the 13th, but there’s no reason to be afraid of going to the races at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night as the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 and Tool Shed of America 358 sprints contend.

The Williams Grove Saturday Series is in action on July 14 as well with another quality program featuring the super sportsman, topless 358 late models and street stocks for an admission price of just $5.

The Friday, July 13 racing program will be another in the 2012 Diamond Series for the 410 sprint cars as the division preps for next week’s second invasion of the season by the World of Outlaws.

So far this season, Diamond Series races have gone to Chad Layton in the Tommy Classic, Logan Schuchart and Brian Leppo over the All Stars, Fred Rahmer in the Keystone Cup and Schuchart and Stevie Smith in PA Speedweek action.

Daryn Pittman currently leads Greg Hodnett by 25 markers in the 2012 Diamond Series standings.

Hodnett currently leads Lance Dewease in the 2012 Lawrence Chevrolet Williams Grove overall season points.

The World of Outlaws will invade Williams Grove Speedway for the two-day Summer Nationals on July 20 and 21, at 7:30 pm.

It will be the second stand of the season at the track by the traveling band.

The first round of 2012 was split between the Outlaws and PA Posse back in May when Fred Rahmer and Steve Kinser took the main events.

The 2012 WoO Summer Nationals will pay $20,000 to win the Saturday 30-lap finale.  Friday’s event will be worth $8,000 to win.

Jason Meyers won the Summer Nationals finale in 2011 while Greg Hodnett took the Friday night portion of the program.
