JONESTOWN, Pa. (September 14, 2020) – Despite Brock Zearfoss’ 2020 Tuscarora 50 campaign ending shy of personal expectation, the former Port Royal Speedway track champion and Jonestown-native managed to make his presence known and put on a show during the Night Before the Tuscarora 50 main event on Friday evening, September 11.

Lining up 27th on the 30-lap grid after utilizing a Port Royal Speedway provisional, forced to do so after finishing eighth during the evening’s B-Main, Zearfoss wasted little time and hit the gas in a hurry, eventually charging through the field to finish 12th at the final checkers. Impressive enough, Zearfoss’ head-turning rally secured the evening’s Hard Charger Award for advancing the most feature positions.

The “Jonestown Jet” kicked-off Tuscarora weekend with a 16th-place finish on Thursday, eventually capping the three-day All Star Circuit of Champions program with an 18th-place finish during the 50-lap, $53,000-to-win finale. Zearfoss secured his place in the big dance by transferring through the evening’s B-Main.

“I don’t think the weekend ended how we wanted, but we put together some highlights and worked our way into Saturday’s show, so we can’t hang our heads too low,” Brock Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., BAPS Auto Paints & Supply, Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car. “I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work over the weekend. Even when things got tough, they kept motivated. I don’t think I could find a better group to work with. We have another big weekend ahead. I’m excited to get back to work on Wednesday at Lincoln.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with another massive weekend in Pennsylvania Posse Country, this time visiting Lincoln Speedway, BAPS Motor Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, and Lincoln Speedway in consecutive fashion on Wednesday through Saturday, September 16-19.

Padding the weekend with some extra green, the Lincoln Speedway double carries a $26,900 potential, as Wednesday’s Weldon Sterner Memorial will award $6,900 and Saturday’s annual Dirt Classic will award $20,000. In addition, Williams Grove’s Jack Gunn Memorial/Dirt Classic Qualifier will pay $5,000. The Jack Gunn Memorial and Dirt Classic will feature the All Star Circuit of Champions.

Zearfoss will enter his four-race weekend with a pair of victories on the season, one of which against America’s Series during action at Southern Oklahoma Speedway.
