JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 7, 2019) – Despite a recent weekend that ended short of main event competition, ultimately missing the opportunity to battle with the World of Outlaws for a $65,000 top prize at Williams Grove Speedway, Brock Zearfoss’ 2019 National Open campaign displayed promise, as well as perseverance, and the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native is already looking ahead at his double-duty attempt at BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 12.
Zearfoss, who is back behind the wheel of his familiar Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/No. 3Z sprint car, will enter 410c.i. and 360c.i. competition during his visit to York Haven during the coming weekend, working to pad a stout 2019 resume that already includes three All Star victories, one worth $10,000.
“It wasn’t the National Open results we wanted, but we’ll shake the weekend off and move forward. That’s all we can do,” Brock Zearfoss said, who ended his National Open 11th in Saturday’s Last Chance Showdown. “Regardless, I’m proud of my team and I’m proud of their work ethic. I’m excited to have the ‘3Z’ back in business. We have two chances to ‘park it’ on Saturday, so we’ll do our best to do so.”
