Pittsburgh, PA (April 19th, 2014) – Danny Holtgraver earned his first ‘410’ sprint car victory of the 2014 season on Friday evening, April 18th at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Holtgraver, who pilots the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprint car, earned the 25-lap main event win during Lernerville Speedway’s 2014 opening night program. The opening night card featured Lernerville’s signature ‘Fab Four’ racing program; which features four weekly racing divisions including the ‘410’ sprint cars. Holtgraver would hold off fellow former Lernerville Speedway track champion, Carl Bowser, for his first win with Hunter Racing. Logan Wagner, Cory Good and Brandon Matus rounded out the top five. Danny Holtgraver will be back in action later this evening, Saturday, April 19th, at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; taking part in ‘Bonnell’s Rod Shop Night’ featuring a $4,000-to-win main event for the ‘410’ sprint cars. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native was a five-time winner at the Mercer 3/8’s mile bullring in 2013; which includes two (2) UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ victories.
Danny Holtgraver is a full-time traveler with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions in 2014. UNOH All Star commitments return next Friday and Saturday, April 25th & 26th. The regional ‘410’ sprint car traveling series will be visiting the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, April 25th; followed by a visit to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 26th for the Bob Weikert Memorial.
