Central PA Visit Helps Prepare for Knoxville Nationals

Pittsburgh, PA (July 21st, 2014) – After taking the most recent weekend off to regroup and rebuild, six-time main event winner in 2014, Danny Holtgraver, will jump back into the seat this Saturday night, and venture to central Pennsylvania for a night of competition in ‘Posse Country.’ Holtgraver, who pilots the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprint car, will venture east this Saturday evening, July 26th to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania for a regular night of sprint car action. With Port Royal Speedway’s shape and size closely resembling that of Knoxville Raceway, Holtgraver feels that a night out east will help him prepare for his upcoming trip to Knoxville, Iowa.
“After getting caught up in some trouble at Lernerville during the Silver Cup, we decided to take this most recent weekend off, and get things ready for the next few weeks” explained Holtgraver, “We decided to head out to Port Royal Speedway this weekend before heading to Knoxville for the ‘360’ nationals and ‘410’ nationals…Port Royal Speedway is big…takes momentum to get around that place…a night there will help us dial-in for Knoxville…can’t thank everyone enough for sticking behind this team through thick and thin…we’ve had our share of wins, but we’ve also had our share of tough times this season…everyone keeps digging and keeps working hard…can’t thank Rob Hunter enough; he’s the backbone…he allows me to keep doing what I love to do…hopefully we can go to Port Royal and figure out what we need to do before heading to Knoxville.”
Port Royal Speedway will feature a full program for the ‘410’ sprints this Saturday night. Holtgraver will battle some of the best that central Pennsylvania has to offer this Saturday night; including current Port Royal Speedway point leader, Mike Wagner.
