Maytown, PA (September 24th, 2014) – Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania will host the very first ‘Dirt Classic Presented by Kasey Kahne’ this Saturday night, September 27th. This inaugural marquee event will feature some of the country’s finest ‘410’ sprint car pilots, as well as a healthy dose of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ regulars, all racing wing-to-wing for a shot at $20,000. Ryan Wilson, a weekly competitor in the heart of central Pennsylvania during the 2014 ‘regular’ season, will join ‘the best of the best’ this Saturday night for a shot at not only the five-digit winner’s share, but also a chance to solidify himself in Lincoln Speedway history. The unique ‘Dirt Classic’ format will feature qualifying time trials, as well as two sets of heat races, in which will all help to set up the evening’s main event lineup. Ryan Wilson, who pilots the Pork – Be Inspired, Dent Tech, Delco Designs, Thru It All Body Shop, Obers Firewood, Subway of Manchester, no. 2 ‘410’ sprinter, has earned two top-five and three top-ten finishes at the Pigeon Hills facility in 2014, and will hunt for a career-first ‘410’ win this Saturday night.
Ryan Wilson will technically kick-off the upcoming weekend on Friday evening, September 26th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The ‘National Open’ tune-up will be contested on Friday night at the world famous half-mile; including a full World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series format to prepare local teams for the upcoming ‘Outlaw’ invasion on October 3rd & 4th . Wilson finished on the podium during his last Williams Grove Speedway start on Friday night, September 19th; leading nearly every lap before losing the top spot to eventual winner, Brent Marks. The Maytown, Pennsylvania native led 23 out of 25 laps during feature competition, holding on to finish second, officially.
