North Jackson, Ohio native and Fully Injected supporter, Jack Sodeman Jr., earned two consecutive top five finishes this Saturday and Sunday, June 30-July 1st, in Western Pennsylvania by claiming a runner-up finish at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, and earning a 4th place finish at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, PA earlier this evening. Sodeman has been on a tear in Western Pennsylvania in 2012; only finishing outside of the top five twice in ‘410’ sprint car competition. The familiar 23JR has nine podium finishes already this season; including one victory at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania.
Saturday night’s runner-up at Mercer Raceway Park was Sodeman’s 4th runner-up finish of the season at the 3/8’s mile oval; including one non-wing runner-up finish in Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series competition. The top five finish earlier this evening at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway took place during a ‘Midwest’ All-Star Circuit of Champions series event; with the top dog being awarded $3,000. Sodeman earned the 4th place finish after a late race spin during the main event; recovering for the top five after being sent to the back with six laps remaining. Mike Lutz was the winner at Mercer Raceway Park on Saturday evening, while All-Star ‘Ohio Region’ traveler, Danny Holtgraver, grabbed the $3,000 victory at PPMS.
