York, PA – 8/20/12 – York, Pennsylvania native and Team Fully Injected ‘410’ sprint car competitor, Cory Haas, finished 2nd Saturday night, August 18th, at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania during the 33 lap, Brandon Little Memorial. The record setting 33 lap feature (established by winner Brian Montieth at just over 9 minutes) saw Haas lead the first 26 laps before surrendering the top spot to eventual winner and former multiple time track champion, Brian Montieth. Cory Haas would hold on for the runner-up finish in the $5,000-to-win program. Lance Dewease, Greg Hodnett, and Alan Krimes rounded out the top five. Haas did pick up a victory during his respective heat race Saturday evening, while also timing-in at 11th quick during qualifying time trials.
Cory Haas, a former ‘358’ sprint car track champion at Lincoln Speedway, currently sits third in the Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ sprint car standings with three (3) wins and 12 top fives! The familiar ’11C’ will have an opportunity to pick up two more victories at the Pigeon Hills 3/8’s mile oval next Saturday night; as the 60th Anniversary program on August 25th will feature Twin 20’s!
