Cory Haas with a Tough Friday Night – Ready for Lincoln
Scored 21st in April 5th Williams Grove Main Event

Mechanicsburg, PA (April 6th, 2013) – Central Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car regular, Cory Haas, had a Friday evening that most would consider ‘not worth writing home about.’ The Dallastown, Pennsylvania native was scored 21st in the ‘410’ sprint car main event Friday evening, April 5th, at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; surrendering his top ten running position to motor/driveline issues during early stages of the 25 lap A-main. Haas, who is a former winner at the world famous 1/2 mile dirt oval, started the main event from the outside of row number seven and quickly found himself in top ten contention after just a few circuits. Unfortunately, motor issues and/or driveline issues would force the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc., York P-B Truss, Inc,. ‘11C’ to go pit-side. There were 27 ‘410’ sprints signed in for action on Friday evening, April 5th, at Williams Grove Speedway. Haas would finish fifth (5th) during his respective heat race. Danny Dietrich would come home the main event victor.
Cory Haas, and the entire Mike Barshinger owned ‘11C’ operation, will be back in action Saturday evening, April 6th, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The former Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ Track Champion currently sits seventh (7th) in the Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ standings entering tomorrow night’s event; on the strength of one (1) top-five and three (3) top-ten finishes.
