South Park, PA (April 8th, 2013) – After a disappointing 21st place finish during the NDRL’s ULMS ‘Chiller Thriller’ main event at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania last Saturday evening, April 6th; the Jared Miley Racing ‘H1’ will take an opportunity to refocus, and turn their attention to the upcoming World of Outlaws Late Model Series’ ‘Buckeye 100’ event at the Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio on Friday and Saturday, April 12th & 13th. The two-day ‘Buckeye 100’ weekend at Wayne County Speedway will not only feature a full program for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series; but it will be capped off with a 100 lap, $20,000-to-win main event on Saturday evening, April 13th. The country’s top super late model teams will be in action at the Orrville oval this Friday and Saturday; including series’ point leader and former champion, Josh Richards.

“We are really excited about getting out to Wayne County Speedway” expressed Matt Miley; Jard Miley’s younger brother and Crew Chief on the ‘H1’ machine, “Ever since they announced this deal, we have been excited…it’s a fun track with a lot of history…hopefully things go right for us on Friday so we can lock ourselves into the big show on Saturday…should be a solid weekend!”

Jared Miley will make the tow west to Wayne County Speedway with hopes of not only bettering his ‘Chiller Thriller’ performance, but perhaps, adding his name to the World of Outlaws Late Model Series history books. Miley entered three (3) World of Outlaws Late Model Series events during his 2012 campaign. The former Lernerville Speedway and Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway Track Champion earned a season-high eighth (8th) place finish with the World of Outlaws during the annual ‘Firecracker 100’ at the Lernerville Speedway. ‘The Jet’ will look to top that performance this weekend and make a run at the five-digit payday.

“If we are clicking right, we can compete with anybody” said Matt Miley, “We are a confident team and we work really hard on and off the racetrack…qualifying will be huge this weekend…we have had some trouble with qualifying in the past but if we can earn a solid time, then that will definitely set the pace for the entire weekend…we just can’t thank our family and supporters enough…without their help, we would be doing other things on the weekend.”

The ‘Buckeye 100’ will kick off on Friday evening, April 12th, at the Wayne County Speedway. Friday night’s schedule will consist of qualifying time trials and respective heat races for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. Action will resume on Saturday evening, April 13th, with consolation races for the super late models; followed by the $20,000-to-win, World of Outlaws Late Model Series’ ‘Buckeye 100’ finale. Jared Miley has been in action at past events at the Wayne County Speedway; but no event at the facility stacks up like this one. The weekend will also include an open practice on Thursday evening, April 11th.

The Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, ‘H1’ operation will close out their upcoming weekend at a very familiar Western Pennsylvania dirt oval. Miley will make a stop at the legendary Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon, April 14th, to help close out the ‘Steel City Stampede’ program that was originally scheduled for last October. The ‘H1’ is certainly no stranger to Lernerville Speedway or it’s notorious front-stretch victory lane. Miley earned six (6) super late model main event victories at the Sarver oval over the course of the 2012 season; while also earning the overall track championship.
