SPRINTS EYE “EASTERN STORM” OPENER JUNE 5;
RAIN POSTPONES “TONY HULMAN CLASSIC” TO JUNE 21
USAC’s AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series will return to the Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track June 21 after rains conspired to force postponement of last Wednesday night’s “Tony Hulman Classic.”
Series participants now focus on the upcoming “Eastern Storm” which opens June 5 at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa. Other Eastern Storm races are June 6 at Path Valley Speedway in Spring Run, Pa., June 8 at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway and June 9 at Susquehanna Speedway in Newberrytown, Pa.
Chase Stockon continues to lead the standings, 14 points ahead of second-place Dave Darland.
