The Outlaws invade the fast 3/8-mile oval for the NAPA Auto Parts Outlaw Showdown on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Inside Line Promotions – McCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (Aug. 5, 2013) – Junction Motor Speedway will host the first World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series race after the famed 53rd annual FVP Knoxville Nationals.
“The sooner we get back to racing the better,” Kerry Madsen said. “It’s a beautiful facility, really nice. Every time I’ve gone there I’ve enjoyed it.”
Donny Schatz headed to Junction Motor Speedway with the momentum of a Knoxville Nationals victory last season and won the NAPA Auto Parts Outlaw Showdown. Current championship points leader Daryn Pittman is hoping for similar circumstances for himself.
“Hopefully we have a good Nationals and we’ll be going there on high spirits,” Pittman said.
Brooke Tatnell claimed the inaugural event in 2010.
