Fully Injected’s, Danny Holtgraver, was scheduled to compete with the All-Star Circuit of Champions last night at Butler Motor Speedway in Quincy, Michigan, for an Ohio Region event – Rick Rarer Photo
After driving three-quarters of the way across the state of Ohio yesterday, Fully Injected’s, Danny Holtgraver, received word that his originally scheduled All-Star Circuit of Champions Ohio Region event that evening in Quincy, Michigan was rained out. So, Holtgraver, and the rest of the D4 team, turned around just before Toledo, Ohio, and made it back just in time to tag a heat race field for the 2nd sprint car invitational of the year at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway .
Holtgraver was in search for his 4th consecutive feature win at the Pittsburgh based facility. Danny was out in front and in charge for most of the 21 lap feature event; until bad luck struck the Kistler powered D4 with less than 10 laps remaining. A flat tire would send Holtgraver into the wall; damaging multiple components including a side panel on his top wing and a radius rod. Danny would recover to still finish just outside the top 5 in sixth position. The 2010 Lernerville Speedway Track Champion will now turn his focus to next weekend; when the All-Star Circuit of Champions invade Mercer Raceway Park on Saturday evening, August 27th.
Keep up with Danny for the rest of the season right here at www.fullyinjected.com!
