Two Full Nights of UNOH All Star Action Ahead for Brandon Spithaler

Evans City, PA (September 10th, 2013) – Although Brandon Spithaler has been on an all-time mental high since earning the 2013 sprint car track championship at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, the Evans City, Pennsylvania native has wasted no time at home celebrating, as action is set to pick back up for the ‘Action Track Champ’ this Friday and Saturday, September 13th & 14th at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio.
Spithaler, who pilots his familiar Cycle Warehouse, Harmony Trucks, Bill’s Interior Grooming, Kozar Excavating, no. 22 ‘410’ sprinter during winged sprint car competition, will go head-to-head against the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions this Friday and Saturday at the Fremont Speedway oval; taking part in the 6th Annual ‘Jim Ford Classic’ worth over $10,000 in total winnings. Brandon Spithaler, a three-time winner in 2013, has never won an UNOH All Star main event, but recently secured a top-ten finish with the national travelers at the NAPA Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio. The Western Pennsylvania native will compete against some of the most talented sprint car pilots in the country; including current UNOH All Star national championship contenders, Tim Shaffer, Danny Holtgraver and Dale Blaney.
‘Jim Ford Classic’ action will consist of two full nights of UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions competition at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio; with a $3,000-to-win preliminary program being the headlined event on Friday evening, September 13th. The ‘Jim Ford Classic’ finale on Saturday evening, September 14th will consist of the infamous 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event for the ‘410’ sprinters; with Tim Shaffer being the defending race champion. In addition, a $5,000 point fund, with a $1,500 winner’s share, has also been put into play over the two days of action; giving Brandon Spithaler a near $15,000 possibility during the upcoming weekend. Friday’s $3,000-to-win preliminary, and Saturday’s $10,000-to-win finale, will each count towards the $5,000 ‘Jim Ford Classic’ point fund. The top-ten drivers in points after two nights of competition will each get a share of the overall point fund; with the champion also being awarded the ‘Jim Ford Classic Cup.’
