Butler, PA (September 18th, 2013) – After spending the recent weekend competing in the 6th Annual ‘Jim Ford Classic’ at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native Danny Holtgraver will return to ‘410’ sprint car competition in the state of Ohio; this time, at the legendary Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Holtgraver will take-on the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series this Friday evening, September 20th at the Eldora Speedway; taking part in the first segment of the 32nd Annual ‘Four Crown Nationals.’
The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series segment of the ‘Four Crown Nationals’ program on Friday evening, September 20th will feature a 30-lap, $10,000-to-win main event for the ‘410’ winged sprint cars. Holtgraver, who pilots the B&R Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Canton Erectors, Alternative Power Sources, DKW Transport, no. 45 sprint car, has made several starts at the Eldora Speedway during his 2013 campaign; highlighted with a nineteenth (19th) place finish during the $50,000-to-win ‘Kings Royal’ main event, sanctioned by the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, back in mid-July. The ‘Four Crown Nationals’ will also feature all three national-level USAC divisions on Saturday evening, September 21st. Danny Holtgraver will use this Friday evening as an opportunity to only earn a first-career World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series main event victory, but also as a warmup for the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ season finale at the Eldora Speedway on Saturday, October 12th. Danny Holtgraver, who now resides in Butler, Pennsylvania, will resume World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series competition this Saturday evening, September 21st at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Holtgraver will follow ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ from the Eldora Speedway back to his ‘home track’ in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening for the annual ‘Commonwealth Clash.’ The $10,000-to-win ‘Commonwealth Clash’ will end a very busy two-day World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series swing for Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing. Holtgraver is a former Lernerville Speedway sprint car track champion, and owns multiple wins at the world-famous 4/10’s mile oval.
The pilot of the familiar B&R Racing ‘45’ will go head-to-head with many of the nation’s top ‘410’ sprint car competitors this Friday and Saturday; including current WoO Series point leader, Daryn Pittman. The Saturday, September 21st program at the Lernerville Speedway will feature the last appearance by the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at the Sarver oval in 2013. Danny Holtgraver, who is a full-time traveler with the UNOH All Stars in 2013, will enter the Eldora Speedway gates on Friday evening, September 20th with three (3) UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions victories under his belt already this season. The ‘45’ team found victory lane during UNOH All Star competition once this season at the I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley, West Virginia; and twice at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Interestingly enough, Holtgraver is five-for-five during feature action at the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval in 2013; winning all five (5) events, sanctioned and unsanctioned, he has entered in. During recent ‘410’ sprint car competition, Danny Holtgraver earned two consecutive top-ten finishes with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania; highlighted with a third (3rd) place performance during the ‘Night Before The 50’ on Friday evening, September 6th.
