Another Action Packed Schedule for 2014
World of Outlaws Late Model Series return Labor Day Weekend
Sarver, PA (February 10, 2014) Despite the brutally cold winter, the 2014 season is right around the corner and the Lernerville Speedway has another action packed slate of races on tap. As always, the 2014 season will start with the Annual Awards Banquet, be highlighted by the Firecracker 100 and Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup, (both presented once again by GottaRace.com), founded in Fast Fridays of Fab Four Racing and capped off with the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede.
The 2014 Lernerville Pre-Season begins again with the Annual Awards Banquet at the Willow Tree/Comfort Inn in RIDC Park along Route 28 on Saturday, March 15. Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling (724) 353-1511 Monday through Thursday from 10:00AM-4:00PM. The Clearview Mall (March 20-22) and Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills (March 27-29) will once again host Lernerville Car Shows. And the Test & Tune Practice Session/Tech Day will occur on Saturday, April 12.
Opening Night 2014 will go green on Friday, April 18 with Budweiser Points on the line right from the start. 15 Fast Fridays of Fab Four Racing will once again be the heart and soul of the campaign with Peoples TWP, Precise Racing Products, Diehl Auto Group and Millerstown Pic-A-Part all back on board as 2014 division sponsors. 2014 Championship Night will be contested on Friday, August 22.
While Fab Four Racing anchors the schedule, the World of Outlaws will continue to be headliners for the Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com the final weekend of June and the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup presented by GottaRace.com in Mid-July. The World of Outlaws Late Models will return on Labor Day weekend for the $10,000-to-win Working Man 50 and the World of Outlaws STP Sprints will return in late September for the $10,000-to-win Commonwealth Clash.
The Lernerville Schedule will once again be capped off with the three-day DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede with all Fab Four Divisions in action, along with multiple support divisions and brought to a high speed, rolling demolition derby known as Enduro 100; the third and final Enduro of 2014.
The All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints, RUSH Dirt Late Model Series and BOSS Wingless Sprints return for another year of racing at the Action Track, but we’ll also welcome a new group of sanctioning bodies to the Lernerville Speedway family. The newly formed RUSH Sportsman (Crate) Modified Series will be joined by the Elite 8 (Super) Late Models and Renegades of Dirt Modifieds (E-Mods). The All Stars will headline the card on Friday, May 9 along with the RUSH Lates & Mods. The BOSS Wingless Sprints will take the spotlight on Friday, July 4 along with the Rush Lates & Mods as the Super Late Models take the weekend off after the Firecracker. The Elite 8 Late Models and Renegades Modifieds will headline the show on Friday, July 18 along with the Rush Mods and Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman as the 410 Sprints take a breather after the Silver Cup.
Of course the family favorites are back for 2014 as well started with the annual Holiday Races with Fireworks on #1 Cochran Fan Appreciation Night and continuing with School Bus and Kids Bike Races on Tuesday, July 29 and Saturday, September 13.
The ultra-competitive Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman once again take center stage on Saturday, September 6 during Autumn-Motive Fest 2014 with the Sportsman/Stock Spectacular and pick up an extra Fast Friday of Fab Four Racing on Friday, July 18.
