TAMPA, FL…..2/11/14… Winged 360 Sprint cars are coming to East Bay Raceway Park for the 13th Annual Ronald Laney Memorial, King of 360’s race Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 20-22, 2014 that pays $10,000 to win.
Wednesday, February 19 is a FREE night in the stands for fans to watch practice for the Sprint drivers that have entered from 15 states and Canada. First-timers to compete at East Bay will be Christopher Bell, the 17 year old sensation, from Oklahoma and Rico Abreu, a California hot-shoe, whose car is sponsored by his family’s vinyards known for excellent wine.
All Star Champions Dale Blaney and Chad Kemenah (King of the 360’s in 2005), Iowa’s famous Terry McCarl and his son Austin along with Canadians Lou and Tom Kennedy and Glenn Styers ( winner in 2012) have all pre-entered.
Greg Hodnet will carry the colors of the Pennsylvania Posse and be driving the #27 that won the race in 2011 while Terry Gray will represent the USCS group.
