Denver, PA (August 28th, 2014) – The final ‘410’ sprint car point race of the 2014 Lincoln Speedway season will take shape this Saturday evening, August 30th in the Pennsylvania Pigeon Hills; with Denver, Pennsylvania native Alan Krimes leading the charge by nearly 300 points. Krimes, who is seeking a career-first ‘410’ track championship, will make his way into the final Lincoln Speedway point race with a 260 point advantage over Jim Siegel. The pilot of the Midnite Antiques, Conestoga Valley Garage, Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 sprinter has earned two feature victories at the Lincoln Speedway oval thus far in 2014; as well as seven top-five finishes and twelve top-ten finishes. A win this Saturday night would not only put the ‘Super 87’ team back in victory lane for a third time in 2014, but also secure a track championship at one of the country’s most notable and prestigious dirt racing venues.
‘Super’ Alan Krimes will also make two appearances at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania during the upcoming weekend; beginning Friday evening, August 29th for the 32nd Annual ‘Jack Gunn Memorial.’ The 2014 edition of the ‘Jack Gunn Memorial’ will utilize an ‘Australian’ format; highlighted with a 30-lap/$6,000-to-win main event. The ‘410’ sprints will then return to Williams Grove Speedway on Sunday evening, August 31st for the Billy Kimmel Memorial. Alan Krimes will enter the upcoming weekend fourth in the current Williams Grove Speedway ‘410’ driver standings. The Denver, Pennsylvania native will look for his first ‘Grove’ win of 2014 this Labor Day weekend.
