Brandon Spithaler; a multi-time winner in limited sprint car competition and now 410 sprint car competition, finished third in the final sprint car point standings at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania, for the 2011 season. The Evan City, Pennsylvania resident finished comfortably in third place; just behind Fully Injected teammate, Rod George. Spithaler also enjoyed competing at a variety of other Pennsylvania tracks in 2011; including Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania.

Kittanning, Pennsylvania’s, Kevin Schaeffer, finished third in the final Lernerville Speedway track championship sprint car standings for the 2011 season. The former Lernerville Speedway Track Champion and multi-time winner at the Sarver, PA facility, had to endure some tough breaks and bad luck at the start of the season; but pulled the program together as summer began to wind down. Schaeffer also raced at other western Pennsylvania facilities in 2011; such as Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway and Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, Pennsylvania.

The Fully Injected 410 sprint car rookie, Adam Kekich, enjoyed his 2011 season racing at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania on a weekly basis. The 18 year old from Hermitage, Pennsylvania had a consistent first season in the 410 class; recording a few heat race victories and feature top fives. Kekich finished 4th among the 410 sprinters in the final Mercer Raceway Park standings for the 2011 season; and will look to venture around the region for the rest of 2011 to hopefully add to his already impressive resume.

Wampum, Pennsylvania native and fourth generation driver, Brandon Matus, finished his 2011 points season with a top five finish at two different western Pennsylvania facilities. Matus finished fifth in the final point standings at both Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, and Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The 17 year old also recorded the first victory of his young sprint car career this year; by winning a 25 lap main event at Lernerville Speedway during a Fab Four Friday night.
