Fremont, OH (May 2nd, 2015) – Defending Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ’410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service champion Byron Reed earned his first F.A.S.T. victory of the 2015 season on Saturday evening, May 2nd at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio; holding off former series champion Craig Mintz, and Bellvue native Cap Henry for the $2,500 payday. Reed, who took command of the non-stop 30-lap main event officially on lap 23 over Craig Mintz, started fourth on the feature grid. Pole sitter Craig Mintz would hang on for second, followed by early race leader and third starting Cap Henry. Recent Fremont F.A.S.T. winner Chris Andrews finished fourth, with D.J. Foos rounding out the top-five.
Byron Reed becomes the third different F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series main event winner in 2015; joining two-time winner Dean Jacobs, and Chris Andrews on the list. Unofficially, Byron Reed, who entered the evening second in the series standings behind Friday night winner Dean Jacobs, is the new F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series point leader heading into Round #5 on Friday, May 15th at Attica Raceway Park.
Night #4 of F.A.S.T. ‘410’ competition saw 24 sprint cars sign in for action at the Fremont, Ohio oval. Defending F.A.S.T. champion Byron Reed earned the fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials; recording a lap time of 12.774 seconds. Stuart Brubaker, Craig Mintz, Rob Chaney and Cap Henry rounded out the evening’s five fastest qualifiers. Broc Martin, Brian Lay and F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Rookie Tyler Gunn each earned victories during heat race competition.
Craig Mintz won the evening’s six lap dash; earning the pole position for the 30-lap, $2,500-to-win main event. Jimmy Light wrapped up all preliminary action with a F.A.S.T. B-main victory.

History Note: Dean Jacobs would earn the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series victory during Night #3 of the 2015 schedule on Friday evening, May 1st at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio; his second F.A.S.T. win of 2015 in just three rounds of competition. Jacobs led 29 of 30 laps on Friday evening; taking command on a lap two restart and going the remaining distance nearly unchallenged. Craig Mintz and D.J. Foos rounded out the podium finishers on May 1st; Byron Reed and Nate Dussel completed the top-five.
Looking Ahead: The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service and the JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro will be back in action on Friday and Saturday, May 15th & 16th. The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ sprint cars will complete rounds #5 & #6 during the mid-May weekend; with the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ sprinters completing rounds #3 & #4. Attica will host all of the action on Friday, May 15th; Fremont will host on Saturday, May 16th.
