Fremont, Ohio (May 16th, 2015) – Despite Mother Nature being a threat for a second consecutive night and claiming action in all parts of the country, the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title program at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio went on as scheduled. ‘The Track That Action Built’ hosted 31 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series sprint cars and 22 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series sprint cars on Saturday night. It was night #6 of the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ championship chase and night #4 of the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ championship chase.

Cap Henry would earn his second consecutive Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service victory of the weekend on Saturday night at the Fremont Speedway. Henry, who captured the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series main event win on Friday night, May 15th at the Attica Raceway Park, battled defending F.A.S.T. champion Byron Reed for a majority of the 30-lap main event at Fremont; taking full command on lap 16 and holding on for the $2,500 victory. The Bellevue, Ohio native now joins Dean Jacobs as a two-time F.A.S.T. feature winner in 2015.

Byron Reed would hold on for second; followed by Craig Mintz, Cole Duncan, and Chris Andrews. F.A.S.T ‘410’ Championship Series rookie Nate Dussel would come home sixth, with Stuart Brubaker, Chad Kemenah, Tim Shaffer, and Dale Blaney rounding out the top-ten. Nate Dussel was the main event hard charger; climbing from the inside of row number nine to finish 6th.

T.J. Michael became the fourth different JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro main event winner of the 2015 season on Saturday night at Fremont Speedway. Michael, a Plano, Texas native who commutes from Texas each and every week to compete in northwestern Ohio, took command of the main event on lap nine, and held off pole sitter Alvin Roepke for the 25-lap victory. Jordan Ryan, Ricky Peterson, and Paul Weaver rounded out the top-five. ‘Smokin’ Joe’ McEwen was the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series hard charger; rallying from 22nd to finish 14th. T.J. Michael now joins Jordan Ryan, Bobby Clark, and Jamie Miller in the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series win column.

F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series preliminary action would see Dale Blaney set the fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials. The defending ‘All Star’ champion recorded an official time of 12.857 seconds. Brian Smith, Stuart Brubaker, ‘410’ rookie Tyler Gunn, and Duane Zablocki each earned heat race victories. Dean Jacobs earned the evening’s dash victory; securing the pole position for the 30-lap main event. D.J. Foos earned the B-main win over Dale Blaney, Caleb Griffith, and T.J. Michael.
