Zearfoss Puts Focus on Port Royal Next Two Weeks
“Outlaw Tune-Up” First at the “Speed Palace”

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Jonestown, PA (October 13, 2015) – The 2015 season will move forward for Brock Zearfoss this Saturday and Sunday with a pair of 410 sprint car programs  in central Pennsylvania; beginning with a visit to Port Royal Speedway’s “Speed Palace” on Saturday, October 17. The “Jonestown Jet” will join the “Pennsylvania Posse” during  Saturday’s “Outlaw Tune-up” at Port Royal Speedway. The $5,000-to-win program will feature a full World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series format, allowing teams to make final adjustments before the “Greatest Show on Dirt” invades the Juniata County Fairgrounds next Saturday, October 24. Zearfoss has been a frequent flyer at the Port Royal Speedway half-mile, finishing 13th in the final track championship standings.

“Always ready to get back to Port Royal” explained Brock Zearfoss, “We have a lot to look forward to. We’ll aim to learn as much as we can this weekend during the tune-up and put that to good use when the ‘Outlaws’ come to town next weekend. We have a few more chances to get that first victory. We’ve been good against some tougher fields of cars this year. An upset next weekend would be an awesome first ‘410’ win.”

The Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Central Builders Supply, Leach’s Automotive Service, Meckley’s Limestone, #3Z team plans to enter competition on Sunday evening, October 18, but the exact destination has not yet been determined. A potential plan to visit Path Valley Speedway Park for Fred Rahmer’s “Party at the Path” is one of two choices for Sunday evening, along with a potential plan to visit Susquehanna Speedway Park near York Haven, Pennsylvania.

“We haven’t made a choice regarding Sunday yet” said Zearfoss, “It will depend on my crew guys and their work schedule on Monday morning. They dedicate a lot of time to this race team. We try to race around their schedules; especially on a Sunday. If we have a good run on Saturday night, we’ll probably be motivated to travel over to Path Valley. We’ll see what happens.”

Brock Zearfoss made a visit to Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday evening, October 10, for the Hank Gentzler Memorial. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native finished 20th during main event competition; his second appearance in the Pigeon Hills in 2015.

“I feel like our car was way better than how we finished” said Zearfoss, “That was only my second time there this year. Tough finish, but we are happy with how the car felt.”
