PITTSBURGH (July 18, 2016) – After spending three days at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, for the 33rd annual Kings Royal, resulting in one main event start and a 23rd place finish, “Downtown” Danny Holtgraver will return home to Western Pennsylvania and once again join the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at Lernerville Speedway, this time for the Don Martin Memorial 25th Anniversary Silver Cup worth $25,000.

Continuing the Tuesday night tradition, the 25th Anniversary Silver Cup will take shape tomorrow evening, July 19, and feature one 40-lap main event, replacing the twin feature format used for the last several seasons. Holtgraver, a former Lernerville Speedway track champion, has finished as high as second during Silver Cup feature competition. The Pittsburgh native will attempt outdo that feat and earn a career first feature victory against the “Greatest Show on Dirt” tomorrow evening.

“Eldora didn’t go as well as we wanted it to go, but we still made the best of our trip and raced as hard as we could,” Danny Holtgraver explained. “We’ll put those results behind us and work on getting set for Lernerville. This is an event we’ve been looking forward to all season. The biggest part of the evening will be qualifying. If we can put ourselves in a great position for the heat race, I think we have a shot at it. I’m definitely excited to race at home.”

Once Silver Cup competition is complete, Danny Holtgraver will return to Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions duties and visit Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana, for the Dirt Classic Indiana. The two-day program, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 22-23, will feature two, complete programs, awarding $5,000 on Friday and $12,500 on Saturday.

“Our All Star season has really turned around,” Holtgraver said, pilot of Pete Grove’s Premier Motorsports, Premier Pallets, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, DKW Transport, No. 70. “The last month and a half or two months have been great. Kokomo is going to be awesome. I’m ready to get back on the road and continue our All Star season. I just need to thank Pete Grove and the entire crew for their hard work and support. We’re going to work as hard as we can to get another win this week.”
