Brent Marks Will Join Posse and Outlaws at Williams Grove Speedway National Open

MYERSTOWN, PA. (September 26, 2016) – Brent Marks made the most of his recent three-race weekend in Central Pennsylvania; snagging two, top-ten finishes during main event competition, one of which during the Williams Grove Speedway National Open Tune-Up where the “Myerstown Missile” finished 10th.
Marks, pilot of the Brent Marks Racing, M&M Painting & Construction, BAPS Auto Paint & Supply, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller Builders, KC Automotive, Wolfrun Landscapes, No. 19M entry, will attempt to transform his National Open Tune-Up top-ten into a victory, as he plans to join the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series during their invasion of Williams Grove Speedway this Thursday through Saturday, September 29-October 1, for the Champion Racing Oil National Open worth $50,000.
“We didn’t have the most perfect weekend, but we took a lot from it and now we can use it,” Brent Marks said. “I’m excited for the National Open. Everything about it; the atmosphere, the fans, the car count – it’s all going to be over the top. I’m excited to be a part of it. I think we have what it takes to challenge for a win.”
In addition to his tenth place finish at William Grove Speedway on September 23, Marks earned a ninth place performance during Justin Snyder’s “Salute to the Troops” main event at Susquehanna Speedway on Thursday, September 22.
Brent Marks will enter the 54th Annual Champion Racing Oil National Open at Williams Grove Speedway with four main event victories on the season. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native finished 18th during the 2015 edition of the Williams Grove Speedway National Open.
“We want to make our fans and supporters proud this weekend,” Marks said. “Qualifying for the main event is one thing, but we want to put ourselves in contention for a win. With this being a three-race program, we have a few days to gain some momentum and work out a game plan. We’ll do whatever we can to get up front.”
