Stambaugh earns sixth All Star top-ten of season during visit to Lebanon Valley Speedway
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
ELIDA, OH (August 1, 2017) – Continuing his impressive rookie campaign with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, “Mad Max” Stambaugh cruised to his sixth top-ten finish of the season, this time at the Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, New York, on Sunday, July 30. It was Stambaugh’s first ever visit to The Valley of Speed, his third of three starts in the state of New York during the most recent weekend.
In addition to his top-ten finish, Stambaugh, pilot of the Ray Marshall Motorsports/Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Fastenal of Kenton/No. 33M, finished 12th and 17th during visits to Outlaw Speedway and Orange County Fair Speedway, respectively. Similar to Lebanon Valley Speedway, it was Stambaugh’s first visit to Outlaw and Orange County.
“It feels good to get back inside the top-ten. We’ve been working all season to keep our consistency on a positive level,” Stambaugh said, a former two-time NRA “360” Sprint Invaders championship runner-up. “Things haven’t been easy for us this year, but luckily I’m surrounded by people who work hard and believe in what we are doing. We are learning a lot and we work to apply that knowledge during every start. We have a few weeks away from our All Star commitments. We’ll definitely use that to our advantage.”
With the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions schedule on break until Thursday, August 17, Stambaugh’s upcoming plans remain uncertain. The tentative plan is to hit and miss local events during the next two weekends.
