JONESTOWN, PA (September 18, 2017) – One week after his podium run during the 50th Annual Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss returned to Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions competition, extending his hot streak with a podium run at the Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
Zearfoss, pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 3Z, finished second during the 35th Annual Jim Nace Memorial/National Open at the Selinsgrove half-mile, his third top-five finish of the season against “America’s Series” in seven main event starts.
Also during the recent weekend, the “Jonestown Jet” finished eighth at Williams Grove Speedway for car owner, Aaron Long. It was Zearfoss’ seventh top-ten finish of 2017 at the famed paperclip.
“This was another great weekend for our teams. The level of success we have been experiencing is almost overwhelming. It keeps us hungry and definitely motivated,” Brock Zearfoss explained. “We still have a lot of racing left including three events this weekend. I really don’t want to see this season end.”
Brock Zearfoss will continue his 2017 campaign with a trio of events in Central Pennsylvania; Thursday Night Thunder at Susquehanna Speedway on Thursday, September 21; World of Outlaws Tune-up at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, September 22; and the Dirt Classic at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, September 23. The 4th Annual Dirt Classic at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway will highlight Zearfoss’ weekend in the Keystone State. The $20,000-to-win showcase will feature the best-of-the-best of Central Pennsylvania, as well as a long, talented list of national invaders such as Brian Brown, Kerry Madsen and Tim Kaeding.
“We are definitely ready for it,” Zearfoss said about the Dirt Classic. “This event is going to keep growing and growing and growing. I’m excited for the opportunity to be a part of it. Our confidence has been through the roof the last few months. We are going to keep doing what we’ve been doing and try to get ourselves up front on Saturday night.”
