GETTYSBURG, Pa. (August 19, 2019) – Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing put together an impressive weekend in the Keystone State, not only earning their 13th victory of the 2019 season, but going three for three in the top-five column while paying visits to Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, and Trail-Way Speedway, respectively.
Impressive enough, Dietrich’s Lincoln Speedway triumph was accomplished from row four, climbing ahead from seventh, officially, to claim his third win in the Pigeon Hills, this one worth $4,000.
In addition, ‘Double-D’ scored a fifth place finish at Williams Grove Speedway to launch the recent weekend on Friday, August 16. Following his win at Lincoln Speedway on August 17, Dietrich finished second during a rain-shortened start at Trail-Way Speedway on Sunday, August 18. The trio of top-five performances bumped his season total to a staggering 38.
“It feels good to be back on top at Lincoln,” Danny Dietrich said, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Sweeney Cars/Self Made/No. 48 sprint car. “We were good all weekend. I wouldn’t be in this position without the guys standing behind me. We have a massive weekend coming up. I think we have the potential to win them all.”
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2019 campaign with a four-pack of All Star Circuit of Champions events in the Keystone State. The four-day All Star invasion will ignite on Thursday evening, August 22, at the always-racey Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania.
Action will move to the historic Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday, August 23, followed by a visit to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown on Saturday, August 24. Dietrich’s weekend will conclude with a visit to BAPS Motor Speedway near York Haven on Sunday, August 25.
The events at Grandview Speedway, Lincoln Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway will each award $5,000 top prizes. The format at Williams Grove Speedway will feature twin main events, each awarding $4,000 paydays.
Danny Dietrich is certainly no stranger to All Star competition, as the Gettysburg-native owns two victories with the series thus far in 2019, both of which in the Empire State.
