PENNDEL, Pa. (January 30, 2020) – With the 2020 Central Pennsylvania racing season activating in less than a month, Penndel, Pennsylvania’s Brett Michalski is pleased to unveil his plans for the new year, kicking-off his schedule, officially, with the annual Icebreaker at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, February 22.
The Central Pennsylvania Pigeon Hills will be a regular destination for Michalski in 2020, once again aiming for a high placement in Lincoln’s season-ending championship standings. In fact, Michalski will visit Lincoln Speedway during each and every event on their upcoming schedule including a World of Outlaws invasion in May, as well as a pair of All Star Circuit of Champions programs in August and September.
When not competing at Lincoln Speedway, Michalski, driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Richboro Pub/Maxim Chassis/Don Ott Racing Engines/Kriner Engines/Penske Shocks/VP Racing Fuels/Hoosier Tire/Wings Unlimited/Racer’s Used and New Parts Warehouse/CR Graphix/SC Signs/Pyrotect/Hinchman Indy/No. 73B sprint car, plans to visit other Central Pennsylvania staples including Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, BAPS Motor Speedway, Grandview Speedway, and the nearby Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, New Jersey, located less than an hour from his homebase in Penndel, Pennsylvania.
In addition to Michalski’s World of Outlaws start at Lincoln, known formally as the Gettysburg Clash, Michalski will join the Greatest Show On Dirt at the famed-Williams Grove Speedway during the annual Morgan Cup, Summer Nationals and National Open, as well as at Bridgeport Speedway and Port Royal Speedway, respectively. Dubbed the Nittany Showdown, the Outlaw visit to Port Royal will feature a doubleheader on October 9 & 10.
The two-day Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal, awarding a $53,000 top prize, will highlight all starts with Tony Stewart’s All Stars in 2020. The two-day showstopper will be headlined with a 50-lap A-main on Saturday, September 12.
In addition, Michalski plans to find time to join the traveling All Stars during other marquee events such as Williams Grove Speedway’s Hinnershitz Memorial, Grandview Speedway’s Hodnett Cup, Williams Grove Speedway’s Jack Gunn Memorial, and Lincoln Speedway’s $20,000-to-win Dirt Classic.
Adding to his busy agenda, Michalski also intends to enter seven rounds of Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek; two rounds at Williams Grove, two rounds at Lincoln and one round at Grandview.
“We are really excited to get the new season underway. I couldn’t be happier with the schedule we put together,” Brett Michalski said, who earned a first-ever 410 victory during action at Lincoln Speedway in 2019. “There are a lot of people who make a schedule like this possible. Their hard work and dedication allows us to be able to live out our dream of racing with the Pennsylvania Posse on a regular basis. I’m going to do what I can to represent our partners at the highest level.”
