GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (November 14, 2022) – Despite a World of Outlaws World Finals campaign that ended short of personal goals and expectations, highlighting the four-day, three-race trek with a 12th-place score in Wednesday’s opener, Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing left The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina, completely satisfied with their season’s overall outcome, celebrating an incredible campaign that included not only seven victories, but a Knoxville Raceway track championship – his fifth aboard a winged 410 sprint car.
In addition to his seven victories and eventual Knoxville title, Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Rowdy Energy, Ditzfeld Transfer, Champion Brands, MC Power, Weld Wheels, Housby, Maxim Chassis, J.D. Welding & Machine, Waldinger, Smiley’s Racing Products, Wolfe Eye Clinic, No. 21 sprint car, concluded the 2022 season with 38 top-ten appearances, nine of which with The Greatest Show On Dirt. Brown was also victorious with the World of Outlaws, scoring a triumph during Knoxville’s annual Brownells Big Guns Bash in June.
“We had a very solid year,” stated Brown without hesitation. “Obviously, the accomplishments that stand out to me, and that we are very proud of, are beating the Outlaws at Knoxville Raceway, getting a victory in Pennsylvania, and earning another Knoxville Raceway track championship. There were some results that slipped away from us, like leading the Outlaws at Devil’s Bowl as well as the Kings Royal, but overall, a very productive season and I’m proud of everything we’ve accomplished. We’ll do whatever we can to work harder and improve so those moments that slipped away don’t happen again
“I want to thank Danny Lasoski, Justin Lawer, Chad Cypert, Robert Brown, Lath Hicks, George Lasoski, and Tye Wolfgang for the countless hours they put in and their dedication to this race team,” added Brown. “I also want to thank all of our partners for giving us everything we needed to compete at the highest level. I’m very proud to disclose that all of our partners will be returning in 2023.
“And to the fans, thank you,” concluded Brown. “Win or lose, they were always supportive and on our side. That’s something we can’t race without.”
Brown’s 2022 stat book also includes four top-ten finishes against Tony Stewart’s Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions, two of which accomplished within the top-five.
