VINCENTOWN, N.J. (April 24, 2023) – Although Mother Nature ruined another opportunity to compete for big money at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace,” this time erasing all chances at a $10,000 payday in the previously scheduled Spring Thaw, track officials were quick to move the highly anticipated program, setting the new date for Saturday, April 29.
Eager to compete, to say the least, Whittall, ace of his family owned JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, K Seal, No. 67 sprint car, is a former big money winner at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile, scoring a $6,000 winner’s share in the facility’s final event of 2022. An upcoming victory in Port Royal’s Spring Thaw would not only surpass a personal winnings record, but solidify the New Jersey native his first victory of the year – the third of his career.
It goes without saying, Whittall will activate his coming agenda with a stop at the ever-famous Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, April 28; the main event will award a $5,500 top prize.
“It’s been a wild spring. I think we’re all ready for some consistently dry weather,” Whittall explained. “Having the opportunity to compete for $10,000 at Port Royal Speedway is a big deal to us. We have the confidence and the notebook necessary to be successful there. We just need Mother Nature to give us a chance to try it.”
Recent results for Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports include 14th and 12th-place performances at Williams Grove Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway on Friday and Sunday, April 21 and 23, respectively.

Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2023 campaign with another routine weekend in Pennsylvania Posse Country, first visiting Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, April 28, flanked by a stop at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, April 29. Port Royal’s Spring Thaw, postponed from April 22, will award a $10,000 payday.
